The analytics dashboard in Argonautas gives you a data-driven view of your property portfolio's performance. Track revenue trends, occupancy rates, and key metrics to make informed pricing and operational decisions.

Revenue Reports

Revenue Overview

The revenue overview shows:

  • Total revenue for the selected period (accommodation + fees).
  • Revenue by property -- Ranked list showing each property's contribution.
  • Revenue by month -- Bar chart showing monthly revenue trends.
  • Revenue by source -- Breakdown by booking source (Direct, Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO).

Occupancy Analysis

Occupancy Rate

Occupancy Rate = Booked Nights / Available Nights × 100%

View occupancy by:

  • Property -- Compare performance across your portfolio.
  • Month -- Identify seasonal patterns.
  • Season -- See how each pricing season performs.
  • Day of week -- Spot weekday vs. weekend patterns.

Average Daily Rate (ADR)

ADR = Total Accommodation Revenue / Total Booked Nights

ADR shows the average price per night actually achieved. Track ADR alongside occupancy -- a high occupancy with low ADR may signal underpricing.

Revenue Per Available Night (RevPAN)

RevPAN = Total Revenue / Total Available Nights

RevPAN is the most comprehensive metric because it accounts for both pricing and occupancy. A property earning $300/night at 70% occupancy has a RevPAN of $210.

Year-Over-Year Comparisons

Compare current performance against previous periods:

  1. Select the current period (month, quarter, or year).
  2. The system automatically shows the same period from the previous year.
  3. Key metrics display the percentage change (up or down).

Use YoY comparisons to:

  • Validate pricing changes.
  • Measure the impact of new marketing or channel strategies.
  • Set realistic targets for the coming year.

Dashboard KPI Widgets

The main dashboard includes summary KPI cards:

  • Revenue This Month vs. previous month.
  • Occupancy Rate for the current month.
  • Average Daily Rate trend.
  • Bookings This Month count and comparison.

Click any KPI card to drill into the detailed report.

Exporting Data

Export reports as CSV or PDF:

  1. Navigate to Reports.
  2. Apply your desired filters.
  3. Click Export and choose the format.
  4. CSV for spreadsheet analysis, PDF for presentations and sharing.

Common Questions

How far back does historical data go? Reports include all data from the time your account was created. There is no limit on historical lookback.

Are cancelled bookings included in revenue calculations? No. Only completed (checked-out) and active (confirmed, checked-in) bookings contribute to revenue metrics.

Can I schedule automated reports? Automated report scheduling is not currently available. Export reports manually as needed.
