Property Setup Video Tutorial

This guide walks you through creating a property listing from start to finish. Follow along step by step to get your first property live and ready for bookings.

Prerequisites

Before starting, make sure you have:

• Admin or Property Manager access to Argonautas.
• Property photos ready to upload (minimum 10, JPEG or PNG, at least 1024 × 683 px).
• Property details: address, GPS coordinates, bedroom/bathroom count, max guests.
• Rate information: nightly rates by season, minimum stay requirements.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Create the Property

1. Navigate to Properties from the sidebar.
2. Click Add Property.
3. Fill in the Basic Information:
   • Name -- Use a memorable name (e.g., "Casa del Sol").
   • Property Type -- Villa, House, Apartment, etc.
   • Bedrooms -- Number of separate sleeping rooms.
   • Bathrooms -- Full and half baths.
   • Max Guests -- Maximum occupancy including children.
4. Click Save to create the property.

Step 2: Set the Location

1. Go to the Location tab.
2. Enter the full address.
3. Set the GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude).
4. Verify the pin on the map is in the correct location.
5. Save.

Step 3: Configure Amenities

1. Go to the Amenities tab.
2. Check all amenities the property offers.
3. Key amenities for OTA visibility: WiFi, Pool, Air Conditioning, Kitchen, Parking, Washer/Dryer.
4. Map amenities to channel-specific codes if prompted.
5. Save.

Step 4: Upload Photos

1. Go to the Photos tab.
2. Click Upload and select your images.
3. Drag to reorder -- the first photo becomes the listing hero image.
4. Add captions for accessibility and SEO.
5. Ensure you have at least 10 photos covering all rooms and outdoor areas.
6. Save.

Step 5: Set Rates

1. Navigate to Rates > Season Templates.
2. Create your first season (e.g., "High Season 2026").
3. Assign the property to the template.
4. Set the nightly rate, minimum stay, and any discounts.
5. Repeat for additional seasons (Green Season, Peak Season).
6. Save.

Step 6: Run Certification Check

1. Navigate to Channels > Validation.
2. Select your property.
3. Click Run Validation.
4. Fix any failures (missing photos, incomplete description, etc.).
5. Once all checks pass, your property is ready for channel distribution.
